Your Heating Unit

New York City building owners must maintain an indoor temperature of at least 68 degrees between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. when it’s below 55 degrees outside. From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., indoor temp must be at least 62 degrees regardless of the temp outside.
We want to ensure you have a comfortable and efficient experience with your heating units. Here's how to use them effectively:
Thermostat Control: Most heating units have a thermostat. Adjust the thermostat to your desired temp. Remember, setting it too high will not heat your space faster; it might just make it too hot.
Fan Setting: You can choose to keep it on for consistent airflow, or switch it to auto mode, which turns the fan on and off as needed.
Safety Measures: Ensure there are no flammable materials near the heating unit. Keep curtains, furniture, and other items at a safe distance to prevent accidents.
Windows and Doors: Keep windows and doors closed when the heating unit is running. This will help maintain the desired temperature and save energy.
Reporting Problems: If your heating unit is not working as expected or if you have any questions, contact our maintenance team immediately for assistance.
By following these guidelines, you'll be able to use your heating unit effectively, stay comfortable, and help maintain a safe and energy-efficient living environment. Stay warm and cozy!
